Free i386 machine !!~

I went back to Temerloh last Friday and i found that my Saturday was very “empty”. So, i called my best friend, Azizan (UIA tengah cuti.. so dia pun tengah melopong), to help me. 15 April, around 9.15pm, we started to kopel kopel the old PCs yang ayah aku buat ‘koleksi’ kat kedai dia. Actually, those PCs dah rosak… then we menage to collect part-part yang still can be use lah.

Gedebuk…..!!~ gedebak…..!!~ gedebing…..!!~ gedebung….!!~ TADA……………!!~

Maka terhimpunlah sekalian pekakas yang diperlukan. Ditiupkan “nyawa”, degupan deras dalam penantian, nyalaan LED…. LED? owh… dah ON rupanye… hahahaha….

Meh aku listkan spec PC nie:-

          1. Pentium 3 (933MHz kalo tak silap aku)
          2. 128 MB SDRAM (cukup la tu.. run linux je kot)
          3. Keyboard (cap kaki ayam)
          4. Mouse (COMPAQ)
          5. CDROM 52X (cap kaki kuda )
          6. 10G Hard disk (cap kaki zirafah)
          7. Netword Card (DLink)
          8. Power supply (tak tau berape WATT… cap kaki lemur)
          9. P4 Casing (cap kaki burung emu) <-- [Thanx to Azfar & Khai]

Monitor tak diperlukan… sebab apa-apa hal.. aku akan SSH or VNC je ke pc tu.. (actually, keyboard ngan mouse pun tak perlu)

Chop chop..!!~ PC tu kat Temerloh kan? Bawak balik Melake macam mane?
huhuhu… aku lerai-lerai kan… then masukkan dalam beg… casing aku tak bawak la.. casing ade orang sumbangkan. hehehe…

Sebelum tengok gambar… aku nak statekan aku punye credit

          1. Ayahanda Mohd Shukor bin Mahamud (tuan punye perkakas pc yang asal)
          2. Farah Ramlee (tumpang kerete die time nak balik ke Melake hari tu)
          3. Azfar (die inform aku bahawe member die ade casing tak pakai)

Sekarang.. tengok gambar plak :-

Macam nie la aku angkut barang2 tu dari Pahang. Thanx Farah, kalau tak.. dah tercabut kot bahu I

Health Problems Related to the Geek Lifestyle

jonasj writes “A doctor and former programmer has written a good article on common geek health problems. From the article: ‘If I were to go and try to run a few miles this weekend, I would not be able to easily do so. […] However, if you take one of the these college basketball athletes, any of them would be able to run miles without even breathing heavy. However, if you made them sit down and try to learn Java for 12 hours a day, most of them would be asleep at their desk before lunch. The typical geek trains their brain to be heavily focused while multitasking day after day. Is it surprising that this same brain does not do well when forced to isolate down to one task?'”

p/s : aku belari ok je beb… tanye la bebudak yang pernah jogging ngan aku.. hahah… hebat aku nie.. hebat…

Hack Attack Challenge 2006

Hack Attack:
Hack Attack is a web-based hackgame testing players in their knowledge of Web security. There are 3 levels in total and each one of them has their own security flaw caused by bad programming and misconfigurations. Players have to find these so called flaws and exploit them to gain access to the next level using only a web browser.

Open Hack:
Open Hack is a real server break in where we provide a server rigged with holes and misconfigurations for players to test their hacking skills. The aim of the game is for the player to find a way into the server and gain root privilidges. Once he/she has root, the player will need to run a script that will replace the server’s index page with the player’s info, acknowledging the player as the sole winner. The server is purposedly misconfigured. The player should look for the obvious & non-obvious clues, it’s everywhere.
